2017 Legislative Session

The 65th Wyoming State Legislature convened for the 2017 General Session Monday, January 10 and its 40-day session. The Wyoming capitol remains under construction for renovations, meaning that the Wyoming Medical Society spent its time at the Legislature at the Jonah Business Center advocating for Wyoming physicians, physician assistants and their patients.

It is conceivable that an appropriations bill could be offered even later than that. Wyoming Constitution Article 3, Section 22 provides that no bill for the appropriation of money except for the expenses of the government shall be introduced within five days of the close of the session, except by unanimous consent of the body in which introduction is attempted.
