The Wyoming Medical Society celebrated its 100th Anniversary in 2003. In recognition of that centennial anniversary, Newcastle physician and WMS past president, Dr. Michael Jording, founded the Wyoming Centennial Scholarship Fund.
Since the first award was presented in 2007 to Wyoming-practicing physician Luke Goddard, MD, the award has awarded more than $75,000 to 56 graduating and first-year WWAMI students.
