WMS Bylaws Section 2.1 Subsection C. dictates that all elected officers, Open Trustee, Retired Physician Trustee and Trustees-at-Large be elected by an open voting process from the membership. The office of Immediate Past President is not an elective office and does not require nomination and shall not be included on the election ballot. The Immediate Past President position is automatically filled by the President upon complete of his/her term of office. All members eligible to vote shall receive a ballot, distributed within a period of not more than twenty days after the final slate of candidates has been determined. A simple majority of ballots received shall determine victory.
