Colorado-based Healthcare Services Firm Named Preferred Vendor for WMS

CHEYENNE – RT Welter and Associates has joined the ever-growing list of firms to be named as a preferred vendor by the Wyoming Medical Society.

RT Welter and Associates is a Denver-based organization that offers physicians and physician offices all forms of credentialing, including initial, reassignment, and on-going; as well as coding audits, education, and outsourcing. RT Welter also offers managed care contracting; client financial services, including bookkeeping and payroll; and a billing service capable of getting on most EMR’s. Finally, they offer an EMR/PM system called Micro MD, which is a Henry Schein product.

In exchange for preferred vendor status with the Wyoming Medical Society RT Welter and Associates has offered WMS member physicians a discount on a variety of services. Those discounts include:

  • A 5 percent discount to WMS members for staff recruitment services (10 percent of employees annual salary for payment);
  • A 10 percent discount on Henry Schein Micro MD purchases (practice management and EMR);
  • A free A/R Assessment, which includes:
  • analysis of charges;
  • payments and write-offs;
  • provider coding analysis;
  • fee schedule analysis;
  • an aging report for patients and insurance.

The WMS’ Preferred Vendor program features companies interested in offering discounted products or services to WMS members in exchange for an endorsement from the WMS. WMS staff vets candidates for the program before being voted on by the WMS Board of Directors.
