New Cheyenne Hotel Named a Preferred Vendor for WMS

CHEYENNE – Wyoming Medical Society (WMS) members have a new home in Cheyenne. The Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriot has been named a Preferred Vendor of the organization.

The Fairfield Cheyenne Southwest, offers WMS members a $99 per night rate, which is available year-round. The only blackout dates for this deal will be July 21-30 (Cheyenne Frontier Days). WMS members are encouraged to use the corporate code 1PC while booking a room online, or mention this code while making your reservation over the phone.

The hotel opened on May 17, 2016 on West Lincolnway just off the intersection of Interstates 25 and 80. The Fairfield has 84 rooms, including several suites. In addition to its rooms, the Fairfield features a free, hot breakfast, and a shuttle from the hotel to the Legislature during session, as well as a nightly shuttle to Wyoming Rib and Chop, with hotel guests receiving a discount at the Rib and Chophouse.

“Ours is a statewide organization, although much of our efforts are centered around state government and Cheyenne,” said WMS Executive Director Sheila Bush. “Our new partnership with The Fairfield of Cheyenne means our physicians can participate in the lawmaking process, or in the Doc of the Day program at the Legislature and come home that night to a clean, affordable room.”

The WMS’ Preferred Vendor program features companies interested in offering discounted products or services to WMS members in exchange for an endorsement from the WMS. WMS staff vets candidates for the program before being voted on by the WMS Board of Directors.
