TB Clinical Intensive Course to be held in Casper in March

The Wyoming Department of Health and the Mayo Clinic Center for Tuberculosis is sponsoring a TB Clinical Intensive Course in Casper, March 2-3, 2017.

Course: The two-day course is designed to familiarize clinicians with all aspects of TB infection, disease, and clinical care using an interdisciplinary and interactive approach. The curriculum is provided through lecture and case management sessions. Course topics include LTBI diagnosis and treatment, TB disease, drug resistance, TB radiology, TB and pediatrics, and Class B Immigration.

Target Audience: Physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other health care professionals who are involved in the management of patients with TB, supervise those who provide care for TB patients, or TB control staff responsible for program management.
